The resistance for the sixth year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News

I mentioned "an upcoming retrospective about the resistance" twice in Election leftovers for the sixth year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News.  Since it's Flashback Friday, it's the perfect time to share it.

The last post in the top twenty was Thousands across Michigan protest immigration and travel ban from January 30, 2017 with 2080 page views according to the raw counter as of March 20, 2017.  It was also the most read entry during February with 1827 page views, 2054 according to the raw counter by the end of the month.  It earned its page views by being shared at Coffee Party USA Facebook page.

Follow over the jump for more posts about the resistance to Trump.

The twenty-first most read entry of the past year was Trump Administration delays placing Rusty-Patched Bumblebee on Endangered Species List from February 10, 2017 with 1939 raw page views.  It maxed out its default page views at 1753 in the middle of March.  It was also the second most read entry of March 2017 with 1700 page views according to the default counter at end of month.  Like most of the rest of the entries in this retrospective, I shared the link at the Coffee Party USA Facebook page.  Its sequel Rusty-Patched Bumblebee finally placed on the Endangered Species List landed on the all-time top ten list, but that will be a story for next year.

The twenty-fifth most read entry of last year was Post-election stress disorder from November 19, 2016 with 1704 page views according to the raw counter.  It was the fourth most read entry during December, ending the month with 1316 page views according to the default counter after maxing out at 1600, 1626 according to the raw counter on December 18th.  It gained most of those views by being shared at Coffee Party USA Facebook page.  It earned 580 page views and helped attract 698 total page views to the blog in the first hour after being shared at the Coffee Party's Facebook page.  It had a total of 76 page views before that.  It earned a total of 1277 page views in the first 24 hours after being shared, and helped attract 2,726 page views to the blog that day.  The other post that also helped was Evan Rachel Woods on acting in Westworld, but that's a story for the next retrospective.

Marching in Ann Arbor plus other women's marches in Michigan from January 23, 2017 was the twenty-eighth most read entry of the past year with 1522 raw page views as of March 20, 2017.  It was the second most read entry during February with 1104 page views according to the default counter as of the end of the month.  I shared the link at the Coffee Party USA Facebook page and Infidel 753 shared the link at his blog.  In it, I offer a first-hand account of the Ann Arbor Women's March, much as I'm planning on posting a first-hand account of tomorrow's March for Science in Ann Arbor sometime next week.

Hundreds protest Trump in Willow Run for the Ides of March from March 16, 2017 did not make the top forty, falling short with 799 page views according to the raw counter as of March 20, 2017.  However, it was the most commented on entry actually posted during the sixth year of the blog and the most commented on for March 2017 with 14 comments, so it earned an honorable mention in this retrospective.  It maxed out its page views at 880, 992 according to the raw counter, on April 14, 2017.  Infidel 753 shared the link at Crooks&Liars, attracting 398 page views from that link alone.  It was the third most read entry of March and the most read actually posted during the month with 843 page views, 894 according to the raw counter, at the end of the month.

That completes this retrospective of the top posts about the resistance to Trump.  The next one will be about general entertainment not having to do with the election.

Previous entries in this series.
