Ruin porn and cute animals

Those are two subjects that almost never go together.*  That written, the two did this week in Detroit.  WXYZ has the story in Dogs left unattended go through hole on the roof.

Note that the Michigan Humane Society investigator says dogs on roofs are common here in Detroit.

WXYZ has raw video of the minute or so before the clips of the dogs in the above video in Dogs on roof.

Dogs stranded on roof. 7 Action News calls for help.

The story has a happy ending, of sorts, as Click On Detroit (NBC 4) reported this hour that roof top dogs left in vacant Detroit home removed overnight.  It appears that their owners, the former squatters, took the dogs with them.

*I can think of one other instance, bobcats moving into a foreclosed home in Lake Elsinore, California. Even so, that house was in better shape and the bobcats were wild animals, not abandoned domestic ones.  The impact just wasn't the same.
